Emergency landing after plane suddenly drops 20,000 feet
Boeing 777 plane carrying over 200 passengers from London to Singapore
An emergency landing has been made after a plane from London to Singapore dropped 20,000 feet in seconds due to severe turbulence.
The Boeing 777-300ER was reportedly flying over the Indian Ocean when it was caught in the severe weather conditions.
The plane landed safely at Singapore Changi Airport and all passengers and crew are reported to be safe.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
